Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2, 2026
SortStops is a free tool for sorting up to 25 stops into an efficient driving route. By using it you agree to these terms — kept short and in plain language on purpose.
The service is provided “as is”
SortStops is free, with no warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee uptime, and the service may change or be discontinued at any time.
Routes are estimates
Sorted routes, distances, and times come from Google's Routes API and reflect typical driving conditions — not live traffic, closures, vehicle restrictions, or weather. Always follow real-world road conditions, signage, and your own judgment. Don't rely on SortStops as the sole basis for time-critical or safety-critical decisions.
Fair use
- The service is rate-limited per user so it stays free for everyone. Don't attempt to circumvent the limits, scrape the service, or drain its routing quota with automated traffic.
- Don't use the service for anything unlawful.
Google services
Address suggestions, route computation, and the hand-off to Google Maps are powered by Google. Your use of those parts is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and the Google Maps Platform terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SortStops and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service — including missed appointments, extra mileage, or losses from inaccurate routes. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the service.
Privacy
How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: your stops are used to compute your route and are not stored.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date above will be updated. Questions: [email protected].
